The LG KC550 Orsay is a bunch of facilities all packed in a handset which is very simple to look at. Although the simplicity may fool many people but the phone is actually a treasure trove of facilities and is very useful.
The most desirable thing in any handset is memory. The LG KC550 Orsay has 12 mega bytes of built in memory and also an option for a microSD (Trans Flash) memory card which increases the memory up to 4 Giga bytes. The user gets about 6 hours of talk time and about 450 hours of stand-by time.
The user has a huge choice of networks as this cell phone has the tri-band technology. Hence he can switch networks between GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900. The connectivity of this phone is good as it has Bluetooth with A2DP as well as EDGE and GPRS. The phone is also USB compatible and can be connected to other USB compatible devices. Then the user can also connect to the internet using the WAP and the XHTML browser.
Another striking feature of this phone is it's camera. This 5 mega pixels camera has a Schneider Kreuznach lens. The user is also provided with the feature of auto-focus and there is also a led flash which allows a user to take pictures in the evening when the light is dim. The LG KC550 Orsay also has the feature of auto image rotation both vertically as well as horizontally. While taking a photograph users need not worry about focusing as there is auto focus also enabled. In addition to all these features the camera is also provided with an image stabiliser. In case of video recording the LG KC550 Orsay is also very good. The user can record very high quality video footage owning to its 5 mega pixels camera and the image stabilisation facility renders it more appropriate. The user can also record the video both horizontally and vertically due to the auto image rotation feature.
The phone also serves as a proper music companion as it has a radio feature which allows the user to listen to the music of his choice. There is also a music player and recorder. This allows the user to record and listen to the music of his choice. The LG KC550 Orsay has a game called M toy which is a motion sensor game and is quite enjoyable. Then the user can also download games that he wants to play. There are Java games as well.
The cell phone has excellent messaging facilities as well. Users can sent text messages as well as video footage because the phone also has MMS. There is another feature called EMS or enhanced messaging service. Then the user also has the liberty to not type the entire word in any message as it will get completed by itself due to the feature of predictive text.
The LG KC550 Orsay is also very good to look at and easy to use. It has a 2.4 inch TFT 256k colour screen of about 240 x 320 pixels. The navigation tools are extremely easy to use and the user has no problem in understanding and using the features of this phone. The phone also has a well spaced keypad which makes it very comfortable to input text messages. The phone being also very lightweight. It weighs only 110 gram. The handset is not quite cumbersome as it is quite sleek and comes in a black coloured casing. The size of the phone is not quite big and measures exactly 96.9 x 51.4 x 14.9mm.
Thus this product of LG is quite a remarkable thing and is quite useful to any level of user.
